Netherlands-Ghana midfielder Gabriel Misehouy has joined NAC Breda from Girona on loan, completing a move to the Dutch club until 30 June 2027.

The 21-year-old attacking midfielder returns to the Netherlands after spending the opening part of the 2026-27 campaign with Girona, who compete in Spain’s LaLiga2. Misehouy’s arrival gives NAC an additional option in an advanced midfield role as the club begins its new season in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie.

Misehouy was born in Amsterdam and developed at Ajax, progressing through the club’s youth system before moving from Ajax Under-21 to Girona on a free transfer in July 2024. He subsequently spent the 2025-26 season on loan at Aris Saloniki in Greece, returning to Girona at the end of June.

His latest move represents a return to Dutch football after two years abroad. Misehouy has Dutch and Ghanaian nationality and is listed as a right-footed attacking midfielder. He stands 1.73m tall and signed with NAC on 31 August 2026.

The loan agreement runs through the end of June 2027, after which he is due to return to Girona. The Spanish club remains his parent side, while NAC becomes his latest temporary destination following his spell with Aris.

Misehouy had yet to make an appearance for Girona in the 2026-27 LaLiga2 campaign before switching clubs. His previous senior loan experience came in Greece, where he spent the 2025-26 season before returning to Spain in June.

NAC Breda’s move also brings Misehouy back to the country where his professional development began. He joined Ajax’s academy from OSV in 2012 and moved through the Under-17, Under-18 and Under-21 teams before leaving for Girona.

The transfer was completed on 31 August 2026, with Misehouy joining NAC Breda on loan from Girona until 30 June 2027.
