Rami Bouaouiche moves to JS Kabylie after MC Alger U20 spell

Algerian centre-back Rami Bouaouiche has joined JS Kabylie from MC Alger U20 on a free transfer, taking the 20-year-old into Ligue 1.

The move was completed on 30 August 2026, with Bouaouiche joining one of Algeria’s top-flight clubs after his time in MC Alger’s youth setup. He plays primarily as a central defender and arrives at JS Kabylie as an Algerian national.

Bouaouiche’s move to the club marks the latest step in a career that began at Academie FAF. He joined MC Alger U21 from the academy in July 2023, also on a free transfer, before progressing through the club’s youth structure.

His departure from MC Alger U20 comes after three years within the club’s development system. The defender now moves into the senior Ligue 1 environment at JS Kabylie, completing a change between two Algerian clubs without a transfer fee.

Born on 26 May 2006, Bouaouiche was 20 when he made the move. His arrival adds a young Algerian defender to JS Kabylie’s squad for the 2026-27 season.
