Saturday football: Tottenham host Newcastle as Sevilla face Atletico Madrid

A full programme of European league football takes place on Saturday, 29 August, with Tottenham hosting Newcastle United in the Premier League and Sevilla meeting Atletico Madrid in one of the day’s main La Liga fixtures.

Premier League

Liverpool begin the televised schedule against Nottingham Forest at 14:30, with coverage on beIN Sports 1.

Coventry City face Hull City at 17:00 on beIN Sports 2, while Bournemouth play Everton at the same time on beIN Sports 1.

The evening’s headline Premier League fixture is Tottenham against Newcastle United at 19:30, also on beIN Sports 1.

La Liga

Levante take on Real Betis at 18:00, live on beIN Sports 5. Real Sociedad then meet Espanyol at 20:00, with beIN Sports 3 showing the match.

The French schedule begins with Strasbourg against Lens at 18:15 on beIN Sports 4.
