Gambia forward Muhammed Colley joins Casertana from Frosinone on loan
Muhammed Colley, the 20-year-old Gambia centre-forward, has joined Casertana from Serie A club Frosinone on a season-long loan. The move was completed on 27 August 2026 and will keep Colley with the Serie C side until 30 June 2027.
Colley becomes a Casertana player after moving between two clubs in the Italian system. Frosinone are competing in Serie A, while Casertana play in Serie C – C, giving the Gambian striker a change of level and setting for the 2026-27 campaign.
The left-footed forward moved into Frosinone’s senior squad from the club’s under-19 side on 1 July 2026. His spell with the first team lasted less than two months before the loan switch to Casertana was finalised.
Colley had joined Frosinone’s under-19 team from Scafatese on 15 July 2025. That move marked his arrival at the club before his progression into Frosinone’s senior setup, from where Casertana have now secured his services for the season.
His arrival gives Casertana a centre-forward who is eligible to remain with the club throughout the campaign under the terms of the loan. The agreement includes a scheduled return to Frosinone when it expires on 30 June 2027, rather than a permanent change of club.
Colley was born on 1 March 2006 and represents The Gambia. He is listed primarily as a centre-forward and favours his left foot, details that define his role as he begins his spell in Serie C.
The transfer was completed without a permanent fee being recorded, with the deal classified as a loan move. Colley’s switch from Frosinone to Casertana is therefore a temporary transfer, with his registration due to return to the Serie A club at the end of the agreement.
