Fenerbahce agree deal to sign Ghana defender Kojo Oppong Peprah

Ghana international Kojo Oppong Peprah is set to join Turkish giants Fenerbahce after the club reportedly agreed a deal worth more than €10m with French side OGC Nice.

Reports indicate that the two clubs have reached an agreement for the transfer, with the 22-year-old expected to sign a four-year contract before completing his move to the Turkish Super Lig.

Oppong Peprah joined Nice from Swedish club IF Norrkoping last summer and enjoyed an impressive debut campaign in France, making 39 appearances across all competitions and scoring once.

His performances had already attracted interest from fellow Ligue 1 club RC Strasbourg Alsace earlier in the transfer window, but Fenerbahce have now moved into pole position to secure his signature.

The move marks another significant step in the defender’s rapid rise, having established himself as a regular for the Black Stars.

Oppong Peprah was included in Ghana’s final squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico, featuring in the team’s group-stage matches against England and Croatia.
