French-Comorian defender Aaron Kamardin makes RWDM Brussels switch from Patro Eisden
French-Comorian centre-back Aaron Kamardin has joined RWDM Brussels from Patro Eisden on a free transfer, adding a 24-year-old defender to the club’s squad for the 2026-27 season.
Kamardin completed the move on 25 August 2026 and has signed a contract with RWDM Brussels until 30 June 2027. He arrives after one season with Patro Eisden, having joined the club from Olympic Charleroi in July 2025, also on a free transfer.
The Marseille-born defender stands 1.86m tall and is right-footed. He plays primarily at centre-back, the position he has occupied throughout his senior career since leaving the Marseille youth system.
Kamardin began his development with Marseille’s youth teams, moving from Marseille’s youth side to the club’s Under-17 setup in 2017 before progressing to the Under-19 team two years later. He then moved into Marseille B in July 2020.
His first move away from Marseille came in August 2023, when he joined Olympic Charleroi on a free transfer. After two seasons there, he switched to Patro Eisden before making his latest move to RWDM Brussels.
The transfer places Kamardin in the 1ste Nationale FFA with his new club, following a spell in the Challenger Pro League with Patro Eisden. He joins RWDM Brussels at the beginning of a campaign in which the club has recorded two possible league matches, although Kamardin has not yet made an appearance for the side.
Kamardin holds Comoros and France nationality and was born in Marseille on 8 April 2002. His arrival gives RWDM Brussels another central defensive option as the club builds its squad for the season ahead.
The move also marks the third consecutive change of club in which Kamardin has transferred without a fee, following his switches from Marseille B to Olympic Charleroi and from Olympic Charleroi to Patro Eisden.
Kamardin’s contract at RWDM Brussels runs through the end of June 2027, and the free transfer from Patro Eisden was completed on 25 August 2026.
