Kaizer Chiefs were held to a goalless draw by Red Arrows at half-time in their CAF Confederation Cup match at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola on 17 October 2026.
The hosts created the better opportunities during the opening 45 minutes, although they were unable to test Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Renaldo Leaner with their early efforts.
Fernando da Cruz made one change to the side that drew with Stellenbosch FC in midweek, replacing Wandile Duba with Luke Baartman in attack. Kaizer Chiefs again began with six defenders.
Red Arrows looked lively in the opening stages but were limited to attempts from distance during the first 15 minutes. Angel Lubamba and Owen Mwamba both tried their luck, but neither effort caused Leaner any concern.
The pressure increased after the half-hour mark, with Red Arrows coming closest to breaking the deadlock from a dead-ball situation. Kaizer Chiefs were fortunate not to concede, as the home side failed to take advantage of the opportunity.
Red Arrows had to wait until the closing moments of the half for another clear chance. Ackim Mumba was played through on goal on the stroke of half-time, but he directed his shot straight at Leaner.
Neither side found the breakthrough before the interval, leaving the match level at 0-0.
