Astorga secure Morocco winger Isam Ahmed in free transfer move

Morocco right winger Isam Ahmed has joined Spanish club Astorga from Wydad Fes on a free transfer, completing the move on 25 August 2026.

Ahmed has signed a contract with Astorga running until 30 June 2027. He will play in Spain’s Segunda Federacion – Group I, with the move taking him from Wydad Fes to a new league and country.

The 1.79m attacker is listed as a right winger and will provide Astorga with an option in the wide areas. Ahmed is the latest player to switch from Wydad Fes to the Spanish club during the 2026-27 season.

His move was completed without a transfer fee, and Astorga have secured his services for the coming campaign under a deal that lasts through the end of June 2027.

Ahmed’s arrival represents a change of footballing environment after his time with Wydad Fes. He will now continue his career in Spain’s fourth-tier competition, with Astorga his new club from 25 August.

The transfer was registered on the same date as the player’s arrival, with the Moroccan winger joining Astorga as a free agent from Wydad Fes. His contract confirms his stay at the club until 30 June 2027.
