Fafe bring Angola winger Picas back to Portugal after Imishli move

Angola winger Picas has joined Fafe from Azerbaijan side Imishli, returning to the Portuguese club on a contract running until 30 June 2027.

The 25-year-old right winger completed the move on 25 August 2026, switching from the Premyer Liqa to Portugal’s Liga 3. No transfer fee has been disclosed for the deal.

Picas previously played for Fafe during the 2024-25 season, having arrived from Chaves as a free agent. He now returns to a club familiar with his qualities after a short spell with Imishli, which began in July 2026.

Born in Luanda, Picas is an Angola international whose preferred position is on the right side of attack. He is 1.70m tall and naturally right-footed, offering Fafe a wide attacking option as the club continues its campaign in Liga 3.

His career in Portugal has also included spells with Chaves, Feirense and Torreense. He joined Chaves from Angolan club Petro Luanda in January 2022, before moving to Torreense on loan later that year. A further loan took him to Feirense for the 2023-24 season, after which he returned to Chaves before making his first move to Fafe.

Picas began his senior career with Petro Luanda after coming through the club’s under-19 setup. His return to Fafe marks his latest move between Portugal and overseas football, following his brief stay in Azerbaijan.

Fafe have now secured Picas’ services through the end of the 2026-27 season, with the Angolan forward officially joining the club on 25 August.
