Stephen Halm joins Kasuka FC as Ghana centre-back completes Brunei move

Ghanaian centre-back Stephen Halm has joined Brunei Super League club Kasuka FC from One Taguig, completing a move that takes the 21-year-old defender to a new footballing country.

Halm’s transfer was completed on 25 August 2026, with Kasuka confirming the arrival of the Accra-born player ahead of the 2026-27 season. The move follows one season with One Taguig, where Halm had continued his senior career after leaving Stallion Laguna.

The right-footed defender stands 1.83m tall and plays primarily in central defence. His arrival gives Kasuka an experienced young option at the back, with Halm having already accumulated 33 appearances in the PFL during his career. He has scored twice and provided one assist across those matches.

Halm joined One Taguig from Stallion Laguna in September 2025 on a free transfer. Before moving to Stallion Laguna in March 2024, he had spent time with TFA Dubai, adding experience in different football environments before his latest switch to Southeast Asia.

His move to Kasuka represents another step in a career that has taken him from Ghana to clubs in the Philippines and now Brunei. The transfer also places him in the Brunei Super League, where he will continue his development as a central defender.

Halm’s market value is listed at €150,000, his highest recorded figure. That valuation follows his appearances at senior level and his record of contributing at both ends of the pitch, although the terms of his agreement with Kasuka have not been disclosed.

The defender joins Kasuka at the age of 21, bringing a combination of central defensive experience and a right-footed profile to the club’s squad. His background includes spells with Stallion Laguna and One Taguig, as well as an earlier period with TFA Dubai.

Kasuka FC have now secured Stephen Halm from One Taguig, with the Ghanaian defender’s transfer completed on 25 August 2026.
