Franco-Ivorian striker Florian Danho breaks silence on Raja AC transfer links
Franco-Ivorian striker Florian Danho has played down reports connecting him with a possible move to Moroccan giants Raja Athletic Club during the current transfer window.
The 26-year-old forward, who currently plays for Tunisian powerhouse Esperance, has emerged in transfer reports as a potential target for the Casablanca-based club as they look to strengthen their attacking options.
However, Danho has moved quickly to distance himself from the speculation, insisting that there has been no contact between him and Raja over a potential transfer.
His comments come amid growing speculation over his future at Esperance, but for now there appears to be no concrete development pointing towards a move to Morocco.
Danho arrived at Esperance in September 2025 after building his career across a number of European leagues. The centre-forward previously played in Switzerland, Portugal and Denmark before making the switch to Tunisia.
He made 21 appearances for Esperance during the 2025/26 campaign, contributing four goals as he continued to establish himself at the Tunisian club.
Despite the transfer rumours, Danho’s latest remarks suggest that Raja have not made an approach for his services and that a move to the Moroccan giants is not currently on the cards.
Raja are expected to continue assessing the market as they search for reinforcements, particularly in attack, ahead of the new season.
For Danho, his immediate future appears to remain with Esperance unless a concrete offer emerges in the coming days and changes the current situation.
