TV guide: MTN8 semi-finals headline packed week of PSL, Premier League and LaLiga action

The second legs of the MTN8 semi-finals, along with meetings involving Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Manchester United and Liverpool, headline a busy week of football on television from 24 to 30 August. All kick-off times are in South Africa Standard Time, with matches shown across SuperSport channels.

Tuesday 25 August

The week begins with a mix of Betway Premiership, Premier League and LaLiga fixtures.

Orlando Pirates face Sekhukhune United at 19:30 in the Betway Premiership, live on SuperSport PSL. At the same time, Kruger United host Durban City, Marumo Gallants play TS Galaxy, and Siwelele meet Chippa United. Those three matches were not televised as things stood.

In LaLiga, Osasuna play Levante at 19:30 on SuperSport LaLiga, while Malaga take on Deportivo La Coruna at 21:30 on the same channel.

Fulham and Chelsea meet in the Premier League at 21:00, with coverage on SuperSport Premier League.

Wednesday 26 August

Richards Bay host Kaizer Chiefs at 19:30 in the Betway Premiership, with the match available on SuperSport PSL. Mamelodi Sundowns play AmaZulu at the same time on SuperSport Football.

The other domestic fixtures are Golden Arrows against Stellenbosch FC and Polokwane City against Milford FC, both scheduled for 19:30 and not televised as things stood.

Thursday 27 August

No fixtures are scheduled.

Friday 28 August

LaLiga returns with Racing Santander against Elche at 19:00 and Deportivo Alaves against Villarreal at 21:30. Both matches are on SuperSport LaLiga.

The Premier League programme includes Crystal Palace versus Manchester City at 21:00 on SuperSport Premier League.

Saturday 29 August

Liverpool host Nottingham Forest at 13:30 in a match shown on SuperSport Premier League. At 15:00, AFC Bournemouth play Everton on the same channel.

Coventry City meet Hull City at 16:00, with coverage on SuperSport channels, while Levante face Real Betis at 17:00 on SuperSport LaLiga.

Tottenham Hotspur take on Newcastle United at 18:30 on SuperSport Premier League. Real Sociedad play Espanyol at 19:00 on SuperSport LaLiga, before Sevilla welcome Atletico Madrid at 21:30 on the same channel.

The first of the two MTN8 semi-final second legs sees Orlando Pirates play Sekhukhune United at 15:00, with SuperSport PSL carrying the match.

Sunday 30 August

Chelsea face Brighton & Hove Albion and Leeds United play Brentford at 15:00. Chelsea’s match is on SuperSport Premier League, while Leeds United against Brentford is listed on SuperSport channels.

Sunderland meet Fulham at 15:00, also on SuperSport channels. At the same time, Golden Arrows face Mamelodi Sundowns in the second leg of their MTN8 semi-final, live on SuperSport PSL.

Real Madrid then play Malaga at 17:00 on SuperSport LaLiga, while Manchester United host Ipswich Town at 17:30 on SuperSport Premier League.

The day’s LaLiga schedule continues with Deportivo La Coruna against Valencia at 19:30, followed by Celta Vigo versus Athletic Club at 21:30. Both matches are on SuperSport LaLiga.
