Juventus face race against time to secure Franck Kessie deal

Franck Kessie has given Juventus only a few days to clarify whether they intend to sign him, with the Ivory Coast midfielder unwilling to wait indefinitely for a decision.

The 29-year-old is available after his contract with Al Ahli ended and, according to Tuttosport, has asked the Italian club to provide concrete assurances or close the matter completely. Juventus must now decide whether to make an official commitment to the former AC Milan player or allow him to pursue other opportunities.

Kessie is seeking a firm answer in the coming days. If the Bianconeri continue to delay, he is expected to give serious consideration to the alternative offers already available to him.

One of those proposals has come from Al Ittihad, who are keen to add the experienced midfielder to their squad. Africafoot previously reported the Saudi club’s interest exclusively, while Tuttosport says Al Ittihad have offered Kessie a two-year contract worth an annual salary of 10m euros.

That package is significantly more lucrative than the terms Juventus are currently prepared to offer. The Italian club are also still working to create room in their midfield before completing any new signing.

Kessie, whose market value is estimated at 12m euros, would prefer to return to Serie A. However, his situation has developed into a contest between his sporting ambitions and the financial realities facing Juventus.

The Ivory Coast international remains highly regarded for his physical presence and experience, qualities that are appreciated by Juventus manager Luciano Spalletti. But the club’s hesitation could allow both Al Ittihad and other interested sides to move ahead in the race for his signature.

Al Ahli are also monitoring the player’s position closely and could pursue a potential transfer, as Africafoot revealed in an exclusive report. Their interest adds another layer of uncertainty to Kessie’s future after his departure from the Saudi club.

For Juventus, time is becoming a critical factor. A failure to make their position clear soon could see them lose a midfielder who would bring experience and strength to their squad, particularly if Kessie decides that the financial advantages of a move elsewhere outweigh his preference for a return to Italy.

In a separate fixture reference included in the source report, Frosinone are due to play Juventus in the opening round of the Italian championship. The betting company 1xbet listed odds of 6.20 for a Frosinone victory, 4.15 for a draw and 1.19 for a Juventus win.
