Millwall complete signing of defender Jordi Osei-Tutu
Millwall have officially secured the signing of English-Ghanaian defender Jordi Osei-Tutu, who has agreed to a contract with the club running until the end of the 2026/27 season.
The 27-year-old right-back had trained with the Lions for two weeks before formally completing his move.
Osei-Tutu arrives from Bolton Wanderers, where he played an important role during the club’s successful League One play-off campaign. He made 42 appearances in all competitions and scored four goals, helping Bolton secure promotion.
The defender began his career in Arsenal’s academy before gaining valuable experience through loan spells at Bochum, Cardiff City, Nottingham Forest and Rotherham United. He later joined Bochum permanently and spent time on loan with Greek side Ioannina before moving to Bolton.
Millwall director of football Steve Gallen welcomed the addition and highlighted Osei-Tutu’s qualities. “We’re pleased to sign Jordi Osei-Tutu,” he said. “Jordi has been in training with us for two weeks and is an experienced full-back. He is quick and is a very good one-v-one defender.”
Gallen added that Osei-Tutu would provide useful cover on both flanks. “Jordi will provide good cover to us in both the right and left-back positions,” he said.
The new signing now begins his Millwall career with competition for places likely to be intense.
