Cercle Brugge linked with Avs FS winger Tunde Akinsola
Nigeria winger Tunde Akinsola is being linked with a move from Avs FS to Belgian club Cercle Brugge.
The 23-year-old left winger currently plays in Liga Portugal 2, while Cercle Brugge compete in Belgium’s Jupiler Pro League. No transfer fee or agreement has been reported, and the move remains at the rumour stage.
Akinsola has made one appearance for Avs FS in the 2026-27 Liga Portugal 2 campaign, starting 50% of the club’s possible matches and playing 46% of the available minutes. He has not scored or provided an assist.
The Lagos-born player joined Avs FS permanently from Real Valladolid on 15 August 2024 in a free transfer. He had spent the second half of the 2023-24 season at the Portuguese club on loan before returning to Valladolid, where he was registered with the Spanish side’s senior team.
Akinsola’s contract with Avs FS runs until 30 June 2027. His current market value is €800,000.
He has played 83 minutes in total in Liga Portugal 2, and the proposed move would represent a switch from Portugal’s second tier to Belgium’s top division. No further details have emerged regarding Cercle Brugge’s interest or the possible structure of any deal.
