AS Beziers sign French-Comorian right-back Rouchidy Mmadi as a free agent

French-Comorian defender Rouchidy Mmadi has joined AS Beziers, completing a free-agent move to the club on 19 August 2026.

The 20-year-old right-back arrives after leaving AC Ajaccio B, where he spent the 2025-26 season. Mmadi had been without a club since his departure from Ajaccio B on 18 August 2025, before starting the next stage of his career with Beziers.

Mmadi, who was born in Arles on 9 January 2006, is a right-footed defender whose preferred position is right-back. He represented both France and Comoros by nationality before making the move to Beziers.

His recent playing record includes 22 appearances and one goal in National U19 – Group D, with 1,256 minutes played. He also featured once in the Coupe Gambardella, completing 87 minutes in the competition.

The move to Beziers follows Mmadi’s progression through Ajaccio’s youth structure. He joined Ajaccio U17 from Nimes U17 in July 2022 and stepped up to Ajaccio U19 a year later. In July 2025, he moved from the under-19 side to AC Ajaccio B.

Before his time with Ajaccio, Mmadi began his youth career at Nimes Jugend after leaving AC Arles’ youth set-up in July 2019. He subsequently moved into Nimes’ under-17 team, marking the early stages of a pathway through youth football in France.

Beziers become the latest club in that progression, with the defender now joining the squad after spending the previous season outside the club game. His arrival gives the side a young, right-footed option in defence, while also bringing experience from youth-level league and cup football.

Mmadi’s move was completed on 19 August 2026, with AS Beziers his new club.
