Inter Milan set to make Curtis Jones their latest Liverpool departure

Inter Milan have reached a verbal agreement with Liverpool to sign England midfielder Curtis Jones for a package worth €35m, according to respected Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.

The Serie A club have also agreed personal terms with Jones, meaning the transfer is now at an advanced stage. The 24-year-old is expected to complete a medical before contracts are signed and the move is formally announced.

Romano said Inter and Liverpool had settled the main details of the deal during the current summer transfer window, as the Italian club continue to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season.
