West Ham weigh move for Watford midfielder Imran Louza

Moroccan-French midfielder Imran Louza is the subject of a potential move from Watford to West Ham, with both clubs competing in the Championship.

Louza, 27, plays in central midfield and has been with Watford since joining the club on 1 July 2021. He is contracted at Vicarage Road until 30 June 2028, meaning any move would involve a transfer fee rather than a free transfer.

His current market value is listed at €14m, although there is no indication of a fee being discussed or of formal negotiations between the clubs. The rumour was recorded on 19 August, with West Ham identified as the prospective destination.

Born in Nantes, Louza holds Moroccan and French nationality. He is left-footed and has been used primarily as a central midfielder during his time with Watford.

The proposed switch would be between two clubs in the same division, but there is no confirmed agreement and the player remains a Watford player.
