Olabige makes Croatian switch as NK Dubrava ZG sign United States-Nigeria winger

United States-Nigeria winger Boluwatife Ayomide Olabige has joined Croatian club NK Dubrava ZG from NK Sesvete U19 on a free transfer.

The 20-year-old left winger completed the move on 17 August 2026, linking up with a club competing in Croatia’s Prva NL. No transfer fee is involved in the deal.

Olabige was born in New York on 17 July 2006 and holds United States and Nigerian nationality. He joins Dubrava after his time with NK Sesvete’s under-19 side, making the move from youth football into a new senior-club environment.

At 1.80m, Olabige is listed as an attacking player whose main position is on the left wing. His arrival gives Dubrava a player capable of operating in a wide attacking role, while the transfer also marks the next step in his career in Croatia.

NK Dubrava ZG are based in Zagreb and compete in the Prva NL, the country’s second tier. The move keeps Olabige in Croatian football after his spell with NK Sesvete U19 and places him at a club competing at senior level.

Olabige’s background provides a connection between the United States, where he was born, Nigeria, which he also represents as a nationality, and Croatia, where he has continued his football career. His switch to Dubrava is the first senior-club move recorded in his career.

The winger’s arrival was registered without a disclosed contract expiry date, and no contract length has been announced. The completed transfer confirms Olabige as an NK Dubrava ZG player after his departure from NK Sesvete U19.
