El Sharqia Enppi offer free tickets for opening Egyptian Premier League match against Al Ahly

El Sharqia Enppi have announced that free tickets will be available to their supporters for the club’s opening Egyptian Premier League fixture against Al Ahly on Sunday, 23 August.

The match will be played as part of the first round of the league season, which is scheduled to begin on 21 August. It will be El Sharqia Enppi’s first league fixture of the campaign and will come against Al Ahly.

The ticket announcement was confirmed in an official statement from El Sharqia president Hamdy Marzouk, who made the arrangements in coordination with Enppi president Ayman El Sharie.

Supporters wishing to obtain one of the free tickets must register through the Tazkarti website. They must also secure a Fan ID registered in the name of El Sharqia Enppi.

The requirement means that fans will need to complete the registration process before they can access the complimentary tickets for the match. The Fan ID must identify the supporter as backing El Sharqia Enppi, rather than another club.

The announcement provides El Sharqia Enppi supporters with the opportunity to attend their side’s first league match without paying for admission. The club has made clear that the offer is linked to the online registration process and to obtaining the appropriate Fan ID.

El Sharqia Enppi are entering the season following the merger of Enppi and El Sharqia, which took place at the start of the current campaign. The change is part of a wider restructuring involving Egyptian clubs before the new league season.

As part of the same changes, Petrojet have also been merged with Suez National Team from the beginning of the season.

The Egyptian league will get under way on 21 August, with El Sharqia Enppi scheduled to begin their campaign two days later against Al Ahly. The fixture will therefore mark the new club’s first league appearance after the merger between Enppi and El Sharqia.

For supporters planning to attend, the club’s statement sets out two conditions: registration on the Tazkarti website and possession of a Fan ID issued in the name of El Sharqia Enppi. The tickets themselves will be free, but fans must complete those requirements to obtain them.

The announcement was issued jointly through the coordination of Hamdy Marzouk and Ayman El Sharie, reflecting the involvement of the leadership of both clubs in arrangements for the fixture. No further details about the ticket distribution were included in the statement.

The opening round of the Egyptian Premier League will begin on 21 August, while El Sharqia Enppi’s meeting with Al Ahly is scheduled for Sunday, 23 August.
