Ethio Electric linked with Shagger City midfielder Natnael Zeleke

Ethiopian midfielder Natnael Zeleke of Shagger City has been linked with a move to Ethio Electric, with both clubs competing in the Premier League.

Zeleke, 31, plays in central midfield and joined Shagger City from Wolwalo Adigrat on 1 September 2025. The move was completed on a free transfer, and he is now being linked with a switch to another club in Ethiopia’s top flight.

The right-footed player has made 42 Premier League appearances, scoring once and providing three assists. He has also featured in the CAF Champions League, where he has scored twice in 16 appearances.

Zeleke’s current market value is listed at €75,000, a figure that may provide a reference point should discussions over a move develop. No transfer fee or agreement has been reported, and the proposed switch remains a rumour.

Born in Addis Ababa, Zeleke has spent his career in Ethiopian football. Before joining Shagger City, he played for Wolwalo Adigrat and Kidus Giorgis, with both of those moves also completed without a transfer fee.
