Egypt centre-back Seif Wafaey joins Dayrout SC from Zed FC U21

Egyptian centre-back Seif Wafaey has joined Dayrout SC from Zed FC U21 on a free transfer.

The 20-year-old defender completed the move on 15 August 2026, beginning a new chapter with the Egyptian club after leaving Zed’s under-21 side. Wafaey’s principal position is centre-back.

Wafaey was born on 1 January 2006 and has represented Dayrout SC since the transfer was completed. His arrival gives the club another defensive option as they begin the 2026-27 season.

The move is the first senior-club change recorded for Wafaey, who previously played for Zed FC U21. The transfer was completed without a fee, and no contract expiry date has been published for the player’s agreement with Dayrout SC.

Wafaey’s career record includes an appearance in the relegation play-off competition, although no further match statistics are recorded. The defender is now part of Dayrout SC’s squad following his switch within Egyptian football.
