Al-Hilal hold talks with Chelsea’s Pedro Neto after agreeing contract terms

Al-Hilal have reached an agreement with Pedro Neto over the personal terms of a proposed contract, with Chelsea now open to selling the player during the current summer transfer window.

The development was reported by journalist Sacha Tavolieri, who wrote on X: “Breaking.. Al-Hilal reach an agreement with Pedro Neto over the personal terms of the contract!”

Chelsea are understood to be prepared to consider Neto’s departure, but would ask for a fee of about €60m before allowing the Portugal international to leave Stamford Bridge.

Al-Hilal are confident they can complete an agreement with Chelsea, although negotiations between the two clubs are still continuing. The Saudi club’s understanding with the player represents progress, but the final outcome will depend on whether the two sides can settle the transfer fee and remaining details.

Tavolieri added: “Chelsea are now open to selling Neto to Al-Hilal, and will ask for around €60m to allow him to leave.”

He also said: “Al-Hilal are confident of reaching a full agreement with Chelsea over the deal.. Negotiations are ongoing, and we have to wait to see what happens.”

Neto has been linked with a move away from Chelsea throughout the current summer transfer market, with Milan, Manchester City and Arsenal among the clubs reported to have shown interest in signing him.
