Mohamed Salah set for Trabzonspor debut as La Liga season begins

Saturday, 15 August 2026, brings the opening fixtures of the Spanish league season and Mohamed Salah’s first Turkish league appearance for Trabzonspor.

The day’s programme also includes Saudi Pro League matches and two high-profile friendlies involving Real Madrid and Manchester United.

Spanish league begins

Deportivo Alaves host Getafe at 20:30, with the match being shown on beIN SPORTS 3.

Later in the evening, Sevilla face Rayo Vallecano at 22:30. That fixture will be broadcast on beIN SPORTS 1.

The two matches mark the start of the new La Liga campaign, with both games scheduled to take place on the opening Saturday.

Salah’s first Trabzonspor league match

Trabzonspor begin their Turkish league schedule away to Kasımpasa, with kick-off set for 19:00. The match will be available on beIN SPORTS 1.

It will be Mohamed Salah’s first league match for Trabzonspor, adding further interest to the Turkish fixtures on Saturday.

Earlier in the day, Gaziantep meet Alanyaspor at 16:30.

Konyaspor play Caykur Rizespor at 19:00, while Genclerbirligi take on Fenerbahce at 21:30. The latter match will be shown on beIN SPORTS 4.

Saudi Pro League fixtures

There are also three Saudi Pro League matches on the schedule.

Al-Taawoun play Al-Khaleej at 19:15, with coverage on Thmanyah 3.

At 21:00, Al-Nassr host Al-Fateh, while Al-Ittihad face Al-Kholood at the same time. Al-Nassr’s match will be broadcast on Thmanyah 1 and Al-Ittihad’s game on Thmanyah 2.

Friendly matches

Real Madrid meet Mirandes in a friendly at 15:00.

Also at 15:00, Milan play Manchester United. That match will be shown on On Sport Plus.

The combination of league openers, Salah’s first Trabzonspor appearance, domestic fixtures in Saudi Arabia and the two friendlies makes Saturday one of the busiest football days of the month.
