Badra Traore: Totana add 20-year-old Mali forward on season-long loan
Mali centre-forward Badra Traore has joined Totana from UB Conquense on loan, completing his move to the Spanish club on 14 August 2026.
The 20-year-old’s loan is scheduled to run until 30 June 2027, when he is due to return to UB Conquense. No transfer fee has been given for the move.
Traore arrives at Totana after spending the opening part of the 2026-27 season with UB Conquense, having moved into the club’s senior squad from UB Conquense B on 1 July. His switch to Totana represents his first recorded move away from the Conquense first team.
The 1.90m forward is listed as a centre-forward and is right-footed. He joined UB Conquense B in December 2025 after a period without a club, having previously been with the Under-19 side at French club FC Metz.
Traore left Metz Under-19s in July 2024 and remained without a club until joining Conquense B later in the following season. His move into the senior team came six months before the loan to Totana was completed.
Totana have added the Mali international to their squad for the 2026-27 campaign, with the forward’s registration coming after his departure from UB Conquense. The move places Traore at his third club since leaving the Metz youth set-up.
His career record includes competitions in Spain’s Segunda Federacion – Group V and the promotion play-offs to the Primera Federacion. Traore’s new deal with Totana is listed as running through the end of June 2027.
The transfer was completed on 14 August, with Traore joining Totana on loan from UB Conquense until the end of the 2026-27 season.
