Saint-Etienne eye Tunisia midfielder Elyes Dhaoui in Ligue 2 transfer link

Tunisia midfielder Elyes Dhaoui is being linked with a move from Olympique Beja to French Ligue 2 club Saint-Etienne.

The 18-year-old defensive midfielder has established himself in Olympique Beja’s first-team squad since joining from the club’s under-21 side in January 2025. He has made 32 Ligue 1 appearances for the Tunisian club, playing 2,399 minutes, and has also featured once in the Tunisian Cup.

Dhaoui is listed at 1.93m and is right-footed. His current market value is €200,000, although no transfer fee has been disclosed in connection with the reported interest from Saint-Etienne.

Saint-Etienne, who compete in France’s second tier, are the club currently linked with the Tunisia international. Dhaoui’s profile places him among the younger players attracting attention from abroad, but the rumour does not indicate that an agreement has been reached or that negotiations are at an advanced stage.

Dhaoui joined Olympique Beja during the 2024-25 season after progressing from the club’s youth setup and remains with the Tunisian Ligue 1 side. His contract status has not been disclosed.
