NK Zagorec bolster attack with Nigeria forward Adiele Eriugo

Nigeria centre-forward Adiele Eriugo has joined NK Zagorec from fellow Croatian club NK Kustosija, adding a 20-year-old attacker to the club’s squad.

Eriugo’s move was completed on 14 August 2026 after he returned to Kustosija following a season-long loan spell with NK Rudes. The forward spent the 2025-26 campaign at Rudes, helping the club win the Croatian Second League title before going back to Kustosija at the end of June.

The Nigerian made seven appearances in Croatia’s Prva NL during that season, playing 266 minutes. He also featured twice in the Hrvatski nogometni kup, recording 104 minutes in the competition.

Eriugo joined Rudes from Kustosija on 4 September 2025. His time with Kustosija began in September 2024, when he moved to the Croatian club from Nigerian champions Enyimba Aba.

Before moving to Croatia, Eriugo was part of the Enyimba side that won the Nigerian title in the 2022-23 season. He also played in the Nigerian Professional Football League and its playoffs, where he recorded one goal and one assist in five appearances.

Born in Nnetu, Eriugo stands at 1.90m and is right-footed. He operates primarily as a centre-forward and has also gained experience in continental competition, featuring in the African Football League and the CAF Champions League during his career.

His arrival continues a career that has taken him from Enyimba’s domestic set-up to Croatian football in the space of two years. At Zagorec, he will remain in Croatia after spells with Kustosija and Rudes, including a title-winning campaign with the latter.

Eriugo’s transfer from NK Kustosija to NK Zagorec was completed on 14 August 2026.
