Penafiel add Cameroon winger Konrad Sinyam to Liga Portugal 2 squad
Cameroon winger Konrad Sinyam has joined Penafiel, giving the Portuguese Liga Portugal 2 club a new attacking option for the 2026-27 season. The transfer from Panthere du Nde was completed on 13 August 2026.
Sinyam, 21, plays primarily on the left wing and moves to Portugal after representing Panthere du Nde in Cameroon. He was born in Yaounde on 26 January 2005 and will now continue his career with Penafiel, whose first team competes in Portugal’s second tier.
The move takes the young forward into a different football environment after his time with Panthere du Nde. Sinyam’s arrival also represents a change of country, with the Cameroon international moving from his homeland to Portugal for the next stage of his career.
At 1.76m, Sinyam is a right-footed left winger. His preferred position places him on the flank opposite his stronger foot, while his age makes him one of the younger senior players joining Penafiel ahead of the new campaign.
Penafiel are based in Portugal and compete in Liga Portugal 2, a national second division that sits below the country’s top flight. Sinyam’s move therefore places him within the Portuguese professional league structure after his spell with Panthere du Nde.
The transfer was registered on 13 August, with Sinyam becoming part of Penafiel’s squad from that date. No contract end date has been announced, and the financial terms of the move have not been disclosed.
The Cameroon winger now begins his time in Portugal as a Penafiel player, completing his switch from Panthere du Nde.
