Arlan Kadima: SC Escaldes add France and DR Congo winger after spell without a club

France and DR Congo winger Arlan Kadima has joined Andorran side SC Escaldes as a free agent, strengthening their options in the Primera Divisio. The 34-year-old right winger has signed a contract running until 30 June 2027.

Kadima arrives at SC Escaldes after leaving Ytterhogdals IK at the start of 2026. He had joined the Swedish club from Spanish side UD Balos on a free transfer in January 2025, before becoming a free agent 12 months later.

The move gives SC Escaldes a wide attacking player with experience across clubs in France, Scotland, Spain, Sweden and Andorra. Kadima is left-footed and primarily operates on the right flank, where he can provide a different profile to the club’s attacking options.

Born in Sannois, France, Kadima began his senior career with Dumbarton, having progressed from the club’s under-20 side. He later played for Annan Athletic and Castellon before moving to Ashford Town in 2015.

His career then took him to FC Challans and Orvault Sports in France, followed by a move to Spain with UE Tona in 2020. He subsequently represented Las Rozas CF, FC Villanueva, Furia Arona, Estrella CF and Lanciano before joining UD Balos.

Kadima’s most recent recorded league involvement came in League One, where he made four appearances and played 155 minutes. His career has also included matches in the Coupe de France, National 2, League Two and Scottish competitions, although no goals or assists are recorded alongside those League One appearances.

SC Escaldes become the latest club in a career spanning more than a decade and marked by regular moves between teams in different countries. His previous transfers from UD Balos to Ytterhogdals, and from several earlier clubs, were completed without a fee.

Kadima’s arrival was registered on 12 August 2026, with the winger now contracted to SC Escaldes until the end of June 2027.
