Junior Kadile attracts Salzburg interest after €1m Servette move

Junior Kadile, the France and DR Congo winger currently at Servette FC, is being linked with a move to Austrian Bundesliga club Salzburg.

The 23-year-old joined Servette from Almere City on 1 July 2026 in a transfer worth €1m, having spent the second half of the previous campaign on loan at the Swiss club. His move was made permanent shortly after the loan ended, and he is now under contract with Servette until 30 June 2029.

Kadile has been valued at €2m and is listed as a left winger, although he is right-footed. Born in Rennes, he developed through Rennes’ academy before beginning his senior career with the club’s reserve side. He also spent time on loan at Portuguese club Famalicao before moving to Stade Lavallois in 2023.

The potential move to Salzburg would represent another step across European leagues for Kadile, who has moved from France to Portugal, the Netherlands and Switzerland during his career. His most recent permanent transfer came after a season in which he first returned to Almere City before joining Servette temporarily in February.

There is no indication that a deal has been agreed, with Kadile remaining a Servette player as the Swiss club holds his registration and contractual rights. The club’s agreement with the winger has three years remaining, while Salzburg are the latest side associated with a possible transfer.
