Elohim Kabore joins SK Beveren on loan
Hammarby have sent 19-year-old forward Elohim Kabore on loan to Belgian side SK Beveren for the next year.
The agreement includes an option for Beveren to make the move permanent, giving the young attacker an opportunity to gain regular football away from Stockholm.
Kaboré joined Hammarby ahead of the previous season and has remained part of the club’s attacking plans. However, the loan is designed to offer him a clearer route to competitive minutes and continued development in a new environment. Beveren will provide the teenager with a fresh challenge as he adjusts to Belgian football.
Hammarby sporting director Mikael Hjelmberg described the arrangement as beneficial for everyone involved. “This will be the best solution for all parties. Kabore has shown great patience and has been a fantastic role model for the other players in a challenging situation for him. We wish him the best of luck in Belgium and look forward to following his development,” Hjelmberg said in the club’s statement.
The move gives Kabore a chance to demonstrate his potential over a full campaign while remaining connected to Hammarby’s long-term plans. His progress in Belgium will be monitored closely by the Swedish club, particularly with the purchase option part of the deal.
