Barcelona unveil Nike third kit for 2026-27 season
Barcelona have revealed their third kit for the 2026-27 season, with the new design supplied by Nike and presented as a tribute to the club’s supporters and the journey from fan to player.
The club introduced the kit on Wednesday, 12 August 2026, publishing a message on its official website centred on the role Barcelona’s colours play in the lives of its supporters.
“First and foremost, Barca fans, Barcelona’s colours were worn with pride in the stands, school playgrounds and everywhere you could dream of being a Blaugrana supporter, long before the shirt was worn to represent the crest on the pitch,” the club said.
Barcelona added: “The Barca third kit for the 2026-27 season celebrates a story that only Barca fans can tell.”
The club continued: “Growing up as a Blaugrana supporter, before becoming one of the players who inspire a new generation.”
That final reference was to Fermin Lopez, who came through Barcelona’s youth system from an early age before progressing to the first team.
The third kit forms part of Barcelona’s collection for the new season, following the unveiling of their home shirt several weeks ago. The home design brought back the club’s traditional vertical red and blue stripes, while also incorporating a gradient effect between the two colours.
Navy lines were also included as part of the home shirt’s design.
Barcelona used a promotional video to launch the latest shirt, with Lamine Yamal, Raphinha and Pedri appearing in the footage released by the club.
The club’s presentation placed the emphasis on the connection between its supporters and the players who represent the badge. Its message described the shirt as something associated with Barcelona fans long before it is worn during matches by the team.
The unveiling marks the latest stage in Barcelona’s preparations for the 2026-27 campaign, with the club displaying its third design after first announcing the new home kit.
The new shirt is being presented under Nike, which supplies Barcelona’s playing kits. The club’s announcement focused on the personal story of supporting Barcelona while growing up, and on the progression of players such as Fermin Lopez into footballers capable of inspiring those who follow them.
Lamine Yamal, Raphinha and Pedri were selected to feature in the launch video, while Fermin Lopez was highlighted in the accompanying message because of his route through Barcelona’s youth ranks.
The club said the third kit reflects a story that belongs specifically to its supporters: following Barcelona as a fan before eventually representing the club on the pitch.
