Crystal Palace raise bid for Torino winger Alieu Njie

Crystal Palace have reportedly increased their offer for Torino winger Alieu Njie as they step up their pursuit of the highly rated Swedish attacker.

The Premier League club’s latest proposal is said to be worth €26 million.

Palace had previously submitted a €19 million bid, but their improved offer demonstrates a stronger determination to reach an agreement. Torino must now decide whether the new terms reflect Njie’s growing value and potential.

The 21-year-old enjoyed a promising first Serie A season with Torino, making 15 league appearances. Although he started only twice, Njie registered one goal and one assist, enough to draw interest from clubs across Europe.

Red Bull Salzburg remain in the race, according to Italian transfer journalist Nicolo Schira. The Austrian side have followed the winger for some time, and reports suggest Njie has indicated he remains open to a move to Salzburg.

Njie is contracted to Torino until 2029, giving the Italian club a strong negotiating position. Crystal Palace’s revised bid may test that resolve, but competition from Salzburg could complicate the race for the Sweden international.
