Everton forward Iliman Ndiaye chooses Premier League over Al Hilal interest

Iliman Ndiaye has decided to remain in the Premier League next season and will not accept a proposed move to Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Al Hilal had been preparing a major offer for the Everton winger during the current summer transfer window as the club continued its search for a new wide attacker. The Saudi Arabian club had already shown interest in Crysencio Summerville of West Ham United and was considering Ndiaye as another option.

However, Romano says Ndiaye has made his decision and intends to continue playing in England, despite the significant financial package reportedly available to him in Saudi Arabia.

“Iliman Ndiaye decided to reject Al Hilal proposal as he wants to stay in the Premier League,” Romano wrote in a post on his personal account on X.

He added: “He’s not moving to Saudi despite huge financial proposal on the table, as he wants to stay in the Premier League decision made.”

Ndiaye’s decision comes amid interest from a number of leading Premier League clubs. Arsenal are understood to be among those monitoring the Senegal international, particularly after missing out on Brazilian forward Vinicius Junior, who recently extended his contract with Real Madrid.

The Gunners are not the only English club considering a move for the 25-year-old. Manchester United are also interested in Ndiaye as they assess attacking options for the new campaign.

United are weighing up Ndiaye alongside his Senegal team-mate Ismaila Sarr, who plays for Crystal Palace, as they look to strengthen their forward line.

Ndiaye joined Everton in the summer of 2024 after moving from Olympique de Marseille. He made 34 appearances for the club last season, scoring six goals and providing three assists.

His decision to stay in the Premier League leaves his future linked with a potential transfer within England rather than a move to Saudi Arabia. Arsenal’s interest has been associated with their search for an attacking player following Vinicius Junior’s renewal at Real Madrid, while Manchester United continue to compare Ndiaye with Sarr.

For now, though, Ndiaye has ruled out a switch to Al Hilal and remains committed to playing in the Premier League next season.
