Enoch Simpore: France and Burkina Faso defender joins FCE MA on free transfer

France and Burkina Faso defender Enoch Simpore has joined FCE MA from Chateauroux B on a free transfer, strengthening the French National 2 club with a 21-year-old right-back.

Simpore’s move was completed on 10 August 2026, with the defender switching from Chateauroux B’s National 2 Group H side to FCE MA, who compete in Group A. The transfer brings a change of club but keeps Simpore in the same level of French football.

Born in Ouagadougou on 18 January 2005, Simpore is eligible to represent both France and Burkina Faso. He plays primarily at right-back, giving FCE MA a specialist option in a defensive position as they continue their campaign in the fourth tier of the French league system.

Simpore joins FCE MA after his time with Chateauroux B. His previous club competed in a different National 2 group, while his new side operates in Group A, creating a clear geographical and competitive shift within the division.

The move also marks the latest step in Simpore’s senior career at the age of 21. With his arrival, FCE MA have added a young defender who has experience of the National 2 structure through his time at Chateauroux B.

No contract end date has been announced for Simpore’s agreement with FCE MA. The transfer was completed without a fee, and he is now registered as a player of the French club.

Simpore’s arrival gives FCE MA another option at right-back and completes his switch from Chateauroux B after the two clubs’ National 2 group assignments changed with the move. The France and Burkina Faso-qualified defender is now part of the FCE MA squad.
