Bayern Munich have signed Senegalese midfielder Bara Sapoko Ndiaye from Gambinos Stars for €3.5m, adding the 18-year-old central midfielder to their squad on a contract running until 30 June 2031.

Ndiaye joined the German champions on 10 August 2026 and will wear the number 39 shirt. The move takes him from Gambinos Stars, whose league affiliation is not stated, to Bayern’s Bundesliga squad.

Born in Mekhe, Senegal, on 31 December 2007, Ndiaye stands 1.80m tall and is a right-footed central midfielder. His arrival gives Bayern another option in the middle of the pitch as the club begins a new campaign after a successful 2025-26 season.

Bayern won both the German championship and the German Cup in 2025-26. Ndiaye is listed as having those two honours with the club, making his transfer part of a squad that enters the season as holders of both major domestic trophies.

The €3.5m fee is below Ndiaye’s listed market value of €4m. His long-term contract ties him to Bayern for five seasons beyond the current campaign and represents a significant commitment to the young Senegal international’s place within the club’s plans.

Ndiaye’s move also marks a step up from Gambinos Stars to one of Germany’s most decorated clubs. Bayern’s first-team squad contains players competing across domestic and European football, while Ndiaye’s specialist role is in central midfield.

The transfer was completed on 10 August, with the player officially beginning his Bayern spell at the age of 18. His profile combines youth, a central midfield position and a contract stretching to the summer of 2031.

Bara Sapoko Ndiaye has therefore completed his move from Gambinos Stars to Bayern Munich for €3.5m and is under contract with the Bundesliga champions until 30 June 2031.
