Vinicius Junior, Real Madrid strike agreement over new deal as Arsenal dream fades

Keeping hold of Vinicius represents a significant victory for Real Madrid as they continue rebuilding under returning head coach Jose Mourinho following a trophyless campaign.

The club has strengthened its squad with the arrivals of Marc Cucurella, Bernardo Silva, Ibrahima Konate, Denzel Dumfries, Carlos Espi and Yan Diomande, while also exploring further additions ahead of the new season.
