Milan target Verona U18 midfielder Abdul Alim Compaore

Italy and Burkina Faso midfielder Abdul Alim Compaore is the subject of a reported move from Verona U18 to Milan U20, with the teenager linked with a switch to the Primavera 1 side.

Compaore, 16, joined Verona U18 from Hellas Verona’s Under-17 team on 1 July 2026 and has made four appearances for the club’s Under-18 side this season, playing 142 minutes.

The defensive midfielder previously spent the 2025-26 campaign with Hellas U17 after moving from Brescia’s youth set-up. He made 23 appearances in the Under-17 B competition, scoring twice, and also featured twice in the Under-17 finals.

The proposed move would see Compaore remain in Italy while stepping up to Milan’s Under-20 team, which competes in Primavera 1. The rumour was recorded on 5 August 2026, but there is no indication that an agreement has been completed.

Compaore’s current club status remains Verona U18, where he began the 2026-27 season after his promotion from the club’s Under-17 group.
