Persijap line up Kirivong FC defender Samuel Ofori in Indonesia move

Ghanaian centre-back Samuel Ofori, who plays for Cambodia’s Kirivong FC, has been linked with a move to Indonesian Super League club Persijap.

Ofori, 27, joined Kirivong from Khosilot on 31 July 2025 after completing a free transfer. The defender’s potential move would see him leave the Cambodian Premier League for Indonesia’s top flight, although no transfer has been confirmed.

The Accra-born player has made 27 appearances in the Cambodian Premier League, scoring twice and providing four assists. He has also featured in continental competition, making six appearances in the AFC Cup and five in the AFC Champions League Two.

Ofori previously played for Khosilot and Ravshan Kulob in Tajikistan, winning the Tajikistan Super Cup with Ravshan during the 2022-23 season. He also spent time with The Dolphins FC before moving to Tajikistan.

His market value is listed at €150,000, while his highest recorded valuation was €250,000. Ofori is right-footed and stands 1.85m tall.

The reported interest comes with Ofori having been at Kirivong for just over a year. Persijap’s interest has not yet resulted in a confirmed agreement, and the defender remains a Kirivong FC player.
