ES Metlaoui bring in Tunisia goalkeeper Mohamed Aziz Bejaoui from JS Kairouan
Tunisia goalkeeper Mohamed Aziz Bejaoui has joined ES Metlaoui from fellow Tunisian club JS Kairouan, strengthening the Ligue 1 side’s options between the posts.
The 25-year-old completed the move on 3 August 2026 and has signed a contract with ES Metlaoui running until 30 June 2028. The agreement places Bejaoui at the club for the next two seasons, with his arrival confirmed at the start of the 2026-27 campaign.
Bejaoui’s move takes him from JS Kairouan to a club competing in Ligue 1. His previous side is the latest chapter of his senior club career, while ES Metlaoui becomes his new base as he continues his career in Tunisia’s top division.
The player’s recognised position is goalkeeper, and his nationality is Tunisian. He is listed at 25 years old, having been born on 13 April 2001. Those details make him an experienced domestic option for a club beginning a new campaign in the country’s highest league.
Bejaoui’s listed market value is €50,000. That figure does not represent a transfer fee, and no fee has been attached to his move from JS Kairouan. The deal is instead defined by his change of club and the contract he has signed with ES Metlaoui.
His arrival also gives ES Metlaoui a goalkeeper under contract through the end of June 2028, providing certainty in the position beyond the immediate start of the season. The move was completed in Tunisia, with both clubs based in the country and the transfer taking place ahead of the 2026-27 season.
For JS Kairouan, Bejaoui’s departure marks the end of his time with the club. For ES Metlaoui, it represents the addition of a 25-year-old Tunisian goalkeeper to a squad competing in Ligue 1.
Bejaoui has therefore switched from JS Kairouan to ES Metlaoui, where his contract runs until 30 June 2028.
