Youssef Osama Nabih joins Iraqi club Al-Mosul from ZED

Al-Mosul have completed the signing of Egyptian forward Youssef Osama Nabih from ZED, the Iraqi club announced on Sunday.

The move follows the completion of the administrative arrangements between Nabih and ZED. FilGoal had earlier reported that the player had finalised the necessary procedures with ZED before travelling to Iraq to complete his transfer to Al-Mosul.

Nabih now begins the next stage of his career in Iraq after spells with a number of Egyptian clubs, including ENPPI, Zamalek, Pyramids FC, Al Ittihad Alexandria and ZED.

The 2026 move to Al-Mosul represents his departure from ZED after he joined the club on a permanent basis. Before that, he had spent time at Al Ittihad Alexandria on loan from Pyramids FC.

His career began at ENPPI, from where he moved into the youth system at Zamalek. He later gained first-team experience during a loan spell with Aswan.

Nabih subsequently left Zamalek when his contract expired in 2023 and signed for Pyramids FC. His time at Pyramids FC was followed by another loan move, this time to Al Ittihad Alexandria, before his transfer to ZED was made permanent.

Across his career with the various clubs he has represented, Nabih has played 102 matches. He has scored seven goals and provided nine assists during those appearances.

Al-Mosul’s announcement confirms the completion of the transfer after the final administrative steps were settled in Egypt and Nabih travelled to Iraq. The club is therefore adding a player with experience across several Egyptian sides to its squad.

The agreement also brings to an end Nabih’s time with ZED, where he had arrived after progressing through a series of moves involving both permanent transfers and loan spells. His latest change of club sees him leave Egyptian football for the first time in his senior career and join Al-Mosul.

The transfer was announced on Sunday, 2 August 2026.
