Polokwane City add former Black Leopards winger Kamogelo Ngwane and striker Tidimalo Molokwane

Polokwane City have completed the signings of former Black Leopards winger Kamogelo Ngwane and striker Tidimalo Molokwane, taking their number of new recruits to seven.

Ngwane, who turns 24 on 2 August, has joined the Rise and Shine squad after previously being on the books of Black Leopards, Marumo Gallants and the Sekhukhune United reserve team.

The length of his contract with Polokwane City has not yet been disclosed, but the move has been confirmed by a source close to the deal.

“Kamo has joined Polokwane City. That’s confirmed. It’s not yet known how long he’s signed for, but it’s definitely a done deal,” said our source.

Ngwane operates on the left wing and becomes the latest addition to a Polokwane City squad that has undergone a significant recruitment drive. His previous experience includes spells with Black Leopards and Marumo Gallants, while he also spent time with the reserve side of Sekhukhune United.

The club have also secured the services of Molokwane, who has signed a three-year contract.

The 21-year-old striker arrives from Army Rockets, who compete in the North West ABC Motsepe League. His move gives Polokwane City another attacking option as they continue to add to their squad.

Molokwane’s arrival, alongside Ngwane’s, means the club have now brought in seven new players. The other new faces include Malebogo Modise, Lucky Malatsi, Mthetho Mosotho, Vuyo Kopamotse and Tshepang Matube.

Polokwane City have not disclosed the length of Ngwane’s agreement, but Molokwane’s three-year deal provides clarity on the striker’s long-term future with the club. The two additions represent different stages of development: Ngwane has previously played for established South African clubs, while Molokwane joins from the North West ABC Motsepe League.

The signings add further depth to the squad and underline the club’s activity in the transfer market. Ngwane’s arrival strengthens the options on the left side, while Molokwane offers an additional choice in attack.

Polokwane City’s latest business follows the additions of Modise, Malatsi, Mosotho, Kopamotse and Matube. With Ngwane and Molokwane now confirmed, the total number of new recruits stands at seven.

The club’s recruitment has therefore included players with experience at Black Leopards, Marumo Gallants and Sekhukhune United’s reserve team, as well as a young forward from Army Rockets. Both latest signings have now been added to the Rise and Shine roster, although only Molokwane’s contract duration has been made public.
