Terrell Egbri: England and Nigeria winger joins Eastbourne from Maldon/Tiptree
England and Nigeria winger Terrell Egbri has joined Eastbourne from Maldon/Tiptree on a free transfer, adding a right-sided attacking option to the club’s squad.
The 25-year-old has signed a contract running until 30 June 2027. Egbri, who was born in London, prefers to play on the right wing and is right-footed.
He arrives at Eastbourne after one season with Maldon/Tiptree, having moved there from Harlow in July 2025. That switch was also completed as a free transfer, following a spell in which Egbri had returned to the club after previous experience elsewhere in England and the Czech Republic.
Egbri’s career record includes 25 appearances in League Two, where he scored one goal and provided two assists. He also made six League One appearances, scoring once, while his record includes four EFL Trophy outings and two FA Cup appearances, with one goal in the latter competition.
His route into senior football began at Southend United after progressing from the club’s under-18 side. He subsequently spent loan spells at Harlow and Farnborough before leaving Southend for Harlow in September 2022. Egbri returned to Maldon/Tiptree in January 2023, then moved to MFK Vyskov in July 2024.
The move to MFK Vyskov was followed by a return to England later that year, when Egbri joined Harlow in December 2024. He then switched to Maldon/Tiptree before making his latest move to Eastbourne.
Egbri has also played in competitions outside the English league system, including the Czech National League and the MOL Cup, giving him experience across different levels of domestic football. His recorded appearances also include one EFL Cup match.
At 1.63m, Egbri offers Eastbourne a compact wide player whose listed position is right winger. His arrival continues a career built through moves between clubs in England and a spell abroad, with each of his last three transfers completed without a fee.
Egbri’s free transfer from Maldon/Tiptree to Eastbourne was completed on 1 August 2026, with his new contract lasting until June 2027.
