# Pyramids FC welcome Egypt internationals back to Turkey training camp
Pyramids FC’s Egypt internationals have joined the club’s preparations in Turkey, with Mostafa Fathi also returning to training after recovering from a broken collarbone.
The squad is based in Erzurum for a pre-season camp that will run until 9 August as Pyramids FC prepare for the new campaign.
Mostafa Ziko, Karim Hafez and Mohannad Lasheen took part in training after representing Egypt at the 2026 World Cup. Egypt reached the last 16 of the tournament.
Fathi was also involved after completing his recovery from the injury which ruled him out of the closing stages of last season. He had suffered a broken collarbone and had been unable to take part in training with the team before now.

They responded in their second friendly by beating Turkish club Alanyaspor 2-0. Mahmoud Zalaka and Ahmed Atef “Kato” scored the goals in that victory.
The club have so far made one signing this summer, bringing in Egypt defender Eyad El Askalany from Russian club Rostov.
Pyramids FC are preparing for the start of the new Egyptian Premier League season, while also competing in the CAF Champions League.
They ended last season as Egyptian Cup winners and finished second in the league table.
