AC Milan seek swift exit for Warren Bondo as Stuttgart and Everton join race

AC Milan are looking to offload Warren Bondo this summer, with VfB Stuttgart, Everton and Eintracht Frankfurt all monitoring the midfielder’s situation after he was frozen out by new head coach Ruben Amorim.

Bondo, 22, has returned to Milan after a season-long loan at Cremonese but does not feature in Amorim’s plans and has been left out of the club’s pre-season training camp at Milanello.

Instead, the Franco-Congolese midfielder is currently training away from the first-team squad while Milan wait for what they consider an acceptable proposal for both player and club.

Growing list of suitors

Initial reports had linked Udinese and Watford – both owned by the Pozzo family – with a move for Bondo, but other clubs have now stepped up their interest.

According to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, Stuttgart, Everton and Eintracht Frankfurt are now closely following developments over the France-born player, who came through the academy at Nancy.

Stuttgart have already opened talks to assess the viability of a deal for Bondo, exploring the financial and sporting conditions required to bring him to the Bundesliga.

Milan, for their part, are keen to reach an agreement quickly as they continue to streamline their squad under Amorim ahead of the new season.

Milan’s valuation and contract situation

The Serie A club are seeking a fee in the region of €7m to €8m for a permanent transfer of Bondo during the current window.

The midfielder, born in Evry, remains under contract with the Rossoneri until 2029, a long-term deal that strengthens Milan’s negotiating position as they look to secure their desired price.

On Transfermarkt, Bondo is currently valued at €6m, slightly below Milan’s asking range, but the growing number of interested clubs could help the Italian side drive the fee closer to their target.

Bondo’s immediate future therefore appears likely to lie away from San Siro, with Milan pushing for a resolution and several clubs across Europe weighing up a move for the 22-year-old this summer.
