Mohamed Bajaber set to leave Simba SC ahead of new season

Kenyan winger Mohamed Bajaber is expected to leave Tanzanian giants Simba SC ahead of the 2026/27 season after falling out of the club’s plans.

The 23-year-old has yet to report for pre-season training, with preparations for the new campaign already underway. Bajaber is currently in Kenya, further fuelling speculation that his time at the Msimbazi-based club is drawing to a close.

Although the winger still has one year remaining on his current contract, sources indicate that he is no longer considered part of Simba’s plans for the upcoming season.

The club is expected to part ways with the Kenyan international as both parties look to move in different directions.

Bajaber joined Simba with high expectations but has struggled to establish himself as a regular fixture in the team’s setup. His absence from pre-season activities has now all but confirmed that an exit is imminent.

The Kenyan is currently assessing his options as he prepares for the next stage of his career, with interest expected from clubs seeking to secure his services before the new season gets underway.

A move away from Simba would offer Bajaber the opportunity to revive his career with regular playing time after an underwhelming spell at one of East Africa’s biggest clubs.

An official announcement regarding his departure is expected in the coming weeks as the player and Simba work towards finalising his exit.
