Monaco hold out for €50m as PSG close in on Maghnes Akliouche transfer
Monaco have rejected Paris Saint‑Germain’s third bid for Maghnes Akliouche, but the clubs appear to be moving towards an agreement as negotiations intensify.
The Principality side are holding firm on a €50 million valuation, while PSG are working to bridge the remaining gap and finalise a fee for the highly rated winger.
Crucially, Akliouche has already agreed personal terms with the European champions, signalling his clear desire to make the switch to Paris. Recent reports indicate that PSG are accelerating their efforts, keen to wrap up the transfer before other suitors enter the race or Monaco reconsider their stance.
Akliouche’s rise helps explain PSG’s determination. He made his professional debut for Monaco on 16 October 2021, coming off the bench in a 2-0 away defeat to Lyon. On 7 January 2023 he scored his first senior goal in the Coupe de France against Rodez AF, and later that year, on 13 August, he netted his first Ligue 1 goal in a 4-2 win at Clermont.
The pinnacle so far came on 19 September 2024, when he marked his UEFA Champions League debut with a goal in a 2-1 victory over Barcelona. A move to PSG would be the next step in a trajectory that continues to point upward.
