Abdelkarim Baadi: Former Raja Casablanca Right-Back Becomes Free Agent After Botola Exit

Moroccan defender Abdelkarim Baadi has left Raja Casablanca and is now a free agent after his departure from the Botola Pro Inwi club was confirmed on 7 July 2026.

Baadi, a 30-year-old right-back, exits Raja less than two years after joining from Renaissance de Berkane in July 2024. No transfer fee has been disclosed, and he is now unattached following the expiry of his spell with the Casablanca giants, with his current market value listed at 250,000.

The move ends Baadis latest stint in Moroccos top flight, where he has spent his entire professional career. A left-footed full-back who stands at 1.73m, he had established himself domestically with Renaissance de Berkane and previously with Hassania dAgadir before earning his switch to Raja.

Baadis stock rose significantly during his time at Hassania dAgadir, where his market value climbed from 100,000 in early 2018 to a peak of 600,000 in 2019. After moving to Berkane in October 2020, his valuation fluctuated but remained strong, reaching around 550,000 in early 2024 as he continued to feature in the Moroccan top tier.

His transfer to Raja Casablanca in the 202425 season marked a return to one of the countrys most prominent clubs, although subsequent valuations showed a gradual decline, with his market value moving from 450,000 in late 2024 to 250,000 by June 2026.

Born in Tinghir on 14 April 1996, Baadi came through the youth ranks at Hassania dAgadir, progressing from the youth sides to the first team before earning his move to Berkane and later Raja. His departure from Raja Casablanca now brings a lengthy run in the Botola Pro Inwi to a close, at least for the time being.
