Tolu Arokodare: Trabzonspor linked with move for Wolves Nigeria striker
Trabzonspor are being linked with a move for Nigeria forward Tolu Arokodare from Wolves as the Turkish side assess centre-forward options ahead of the new Super Lig campaign.
The 25-year-old, who wears No 14 at Molineux and is valued at 20m, joined Wolves from Belgian club KRC Genk on 1 September 2025 and is currently listed with the Championship side as a right-footed centre-forward.
Arokodares profile is likely to appeal to Trabzonspor, with the 1.97m striker offering significant height and a traditional penalty-box presence, having developed his game across several European leagues.
Before arriving in England, Arokodares reputation rose steadily in Belgium with Genk, where his market value increased from 3.5m in March 2023 to 18m by June 2025, reflecting his growing impact in the Belgian top flight.
The Lagos-born attacker had previously progressed through Amiens in France following a spell with Latvian side Valmiera, earning an initial move on loan to 1. FC Koln in Germany in 2020 before establishing himself in Western Europe.
Arokodares valuation peaked at 25m shortly after his switch to Wolves in October 2025, before settling at 20m in June 2026, underlining his continued status as a significant asset in the transfer market.
No agreement has been reached between Wolves and Trabzonspor, and at this stage the Nigerian strikers potential move remains a rumour.
