Alwaly Camara: Hammarby TFF sign Senegal midfielder from ES Grand-Yoff

Hammarby TFF have completed the signing of Senegalese central midfielder Alwaly Camara from ES Grand-Yoff. The 18-year-old joins the Swedish club in a standard transfer for the 202627 season from the Dakar-based side in his home country.

Camara, born on 10 May 2008 in Grand Yoff, moves into the Swedish Ettan Norra system with Hammarby TFF after progressing through the Senegalese game. No fee details have been disclosed for the transfer, which was finalised on 7 July 2026.

The left-footed midfielder, who stands at 1.80m, specialises in a central role and is listed primarily as a central midfielder. His move from ES Grand-Yoff continues a steady rise after earlier experience with ASC Jaraafs under-17 setup, from where he switched to ES Grand-Yoff in July 2025.

Hammarby TFF compete in Ettan Norra, the third tier of Swedish football, and Camaras arrival adds a young, Senegal-developed option to their midfield department. The switch also represents his first move to a European league after developing entirely in Senegalese clubs.

Camaras transfer marks his second consecutive summer move after his step up from ASC Jaraaf U17 to ES Grand-Yoff ahead of the 202526 campaign.
